The original owner of this stock truck is my father-in-law so I know for a fact it has been impeccably maintained at the dealership, has never been off-road and has never been tinkered with. He’s that kind of guy. For the past 3 years it has been my wife’s daily driver, just taking the kids to school and such. The truck has spent its entire life in Oklahoma and North Texas so there’s no rust or corrosion.
The interior is very clean. All leather is in excellent shape with zero tears or cracking. The carpets and headliner are excellent with no tears or sagging of any kind. The stereo, tape and CD all work perfectly and all speakers are in excellent condition. The AC, Heat and Defrost are all very strong. Power locks, windows and seats all work perfectly. The front floormats could stand replacing and the wood grain has started to peel in a couple of very small areas.
The exterior is nearly perfect. Having spent most of its life in a garage, the paint is in excellent condition with no fading or major scratches anywhere. The glass is all very good to excellent with a small chip in the windshield, but no cracks. All of the fender flares, mud flaps and running boards are perfect with no cracks bends or dings. There is one blemish, a small dent in the rear hatch on the driver’s side just below and left of the rear glass. The dent does not extend into the glass area or the rear pillar and should be fairly easily repaired.
Under the hood things are very good to excellent. No leaks, knocks or pings. Admittedly, I am not a wrencher but I have had the vehicle checked out by my trusted mechanic. A new valve cover gasket is in order, but that’s the only thing that really needs doing. The new owner will want to update PM’s as necessary, but as I mentioned the truck has been very well maintained and all major services have been performed and the service schedule followed.
The suspension is original but seems in very good order. The truck rides and drives really well. I have a '93 cruiser that drives like a truck, this thing is a Cadillac by comparison. Recently the front passenger side knuckle was rebuilt and the driver side was inspected and looks fine. The brakes are very good and were serviced fairly recently.
I am selling this truck as I have 2 toddlers already and twins on the way. Its time for a Toyota Sienna, otherwise we'd keep the cruiser forever.
I'll try to get some more pics up shortly. In the meantime PM or email me if you want particular pics or if you have questions.
Asking price is $11,500. The vehicle is located in the DFW area.
Cheers,
uurys1
