Popped a head gasket. Pulled motor. Decided that a factory new short block wasn't all that much more than rebuilding the existing short block, which I figured was worth doing since the motor had 250K and was already out of the truck. Now I have an extra short block. Had high hopes of doing something fun with it, but I've come to the realization that it's just taking up space. If you have a use for it, I have a desire to make space. Make me an offer I can't refuse. I dunno.... $500?
Ran flawlessly up to the blown head gasket. No bent internals. No excessive pitting or scoring. Could probably swap over accessories and run it another hundred thousand miles. Local pickup in SoCal. Sorry, I'm not shipping a block.
