1997 1FZ-FE Motor, Trans and Transfercase $1000 OBO
1FZ-FE motor, Transmission and transfer case all in good working condition all for $1000 obo. I do not want to part them out or sell them separately it is all or nothing. I am the second owner of the 1997 40th anniversary addition, the Previous owner and my self have changed the oil every 3k-5k miles since it was new. The motor runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly and the transfer case works good. It is a well maintained power train. I would not hesitate to drop the whole power train in my cruiser and go. I would probably replace the o ring on the distributor and pan arch gasket? on the rear of the oil pan, it has a slow oil leak, but if you don't mind drips, no need, just run it. The engine dose not smoke running or on start up. It will burn/drip about a half Quart of oil between oil changes. This motor has never kicked out any trouble code in the 5 years I have owned it, it just works. In the last year or two it has new OEM plug wires, cap ,rotor, plugs and blue fan clutch. It is a Southern California land cruiser from new, the previous owner did not know how to put it in 4 wheel drive or use the locker. needless to say it was a mall crawler never seen any harsh off highway use. it has 240,000 miles on the clock I would honestly say it has an other 100k to go with no issues. I live in the Pasadena area, and have an engine hoist to load it to the back of a truck or trailer. Yes I Did a diesel swap.... don't ask why I would pull a perfectly good motor to put in something else.. the wife has already reminded me of that more than enough, all I can say it is a cruiser thing. if you want to see the engine running i posted a video at Serious inquiries only. Thanks
