Seems like a great deal! Finding a rust free 80 in MN is almost impossible.

I took a look at it yesterday. Pros: No rust, lockers, runs strong, 4" lift, 35s, rear tire carrier, RTT option for extra $1000. Cons: valve cover leak, exhaust leak. 293K miles. The rig seems solid. Chris seems like a very honest and straight shooting guy. Granted this is the first 80 I've looked at, so I'm no expert. I passed on it. I'm still debating on what I want. Gotta fix my 4runner first.

If it’s that clean and that is all it needs, scrap the 4runner and buy the 80. That price is reasonable and rust free is rare up there.

There is that lx that has factory lockers with 170,xxx miles for 2600. It needs a little work but looks clean and could be a good start. He’s also had it for sale for at least a month at that price bet he would take less.

Thanks guys,! It is a good deal, no argument! It was the first 80 I drove, and I will probably regret passing on it, but I'm reconsidering what i really want.

Not a current FJ driver, have looked at a couple already, looking forward to snagging my first when the time & truck is right
