I am putting my 1996 LX450 up for sale. I have planned on keeping this truck forever since I’ve had it now for 9 years and absolutely love it. I took it off-road years ago at the Southern Cruiser Crawl and some other cruiser rides, but since then, I’ve been overwhelmed with two jobs and three kids. Kids are now getting older and wanting to get on the water, so I bought a 1997 Mastercraft 205. The LX450 does a fine job towing the boat on the flats and pulling it out of the water, but it does not have the power that I need to handle the Alabama hills, so now it’s time to get something with a V8. I’m in no rush to sell bc we won’t be towing the boat until the spring, so the mileage will continue to increase as the LX450 is my daily driver. After checking out other iH8mud classifieds and eBay, I’m asking $11,000 obo. PM me for any question or requests for other photos.
Here is a little history on the LX450: I bought the 1996 LX450 in December of 2007 with approx 163,000 miles from iH8mud member, SouthernStride, who bought it from iH8mud member, Skywalkerguy earlier in 2007. Southernstride bought it planning on putting in a diesel motor, but then changed his mind after seeing how much it could kill the value of this awesome rig.

Issues
-leather torn on passenger front seat and wearing thin on driver’s side
-nylon gears on passenger seat rails worn; I have new gears, never installed
-remote door lock fob battery died and I have never had a chance to reconnect it
-there is a mark across the hood from a previous owner’s bra
-there is some damage to the ARB from previous ARB owner
-there is some damage to the lower apron on the passenger side from previous owner
-P0420 code will pop up every so often
-exhaust leak at Y, fixed 8/2016
-ashtray stolen with all my change
