I have for sale my 1996 Landcruiser.
I am currently at Fort Bragg and I really don't drive the LC as much and some issues have come up and I just can't justify it anymore.
The vehicle is in good shape, it has 209880 on the clock, 2 owners including myself (it will show on the car fax as more but the previous owner had it in his family for 17 years with his son being one of the drivers while in college in Indiana, my home of record is Colorado). Oil changes every 4000-5000 with full rotella synthetic oil, 34 inch BF Goodrich KO2 Tires on it with around 5-6000 miles on them, old man emu 2.5 inch lift, new old man emu steering stabilizer, no leaks, strong engine and drive line. AC blows cold, heater is strong, brakes are roughly 8mm front 4-5mm rear, power steering is good, vehicle does not over heat, oil pressure has been solid, head gasket is in good shape. Rear seats are at my place in Colorado- I can work on shipping then but vehicle is priced without shipping costs for the seats.
The Bad
The front axle will need to be serviced- the there is a higher pitches grinding that shows up when the vehicle is canted forward (as if in a braking situation) and not under load from the motor. I had the front whee bearing replaced by a TOYOTA dealer in Raleigh with advice from the mechanic but they are saying to replace the birfilds and service the front axle and quoted me roughly 1500 to fix it. 3 rust spots, one about quarter sized on the drivers a pillar, one on the bottom of the rear hatch above the key port and the third is on the drivers quarter panel.
I am looking to get $5200 for it- I feel I am being fair being that a lot of it is really solid. I would expect to look at a vehicle I am purchasing in person and that is how I would prefer to sell this vehicle/ I am very sad but I would rather put the money towards my 2016 Tacoma at this point. Let me know at tylerbergenrn@gmail.com.
I am currently in training here at Bragg so my ability to transport the thing is my biggest limit. Thanks guys.
