Faced with having to sell my last 80. This was the semi DD/project rig until I sold the other LX in Jan. Got a nice start on her, now she rarely gets used.
Here is the story:
1996 LX450. 190K miles. Factory lockers. Bought her in Maryland, late 09 with maybe 160K on her. Used but never abused. Usual stock stuff plus the following...
Work IPOR did late 2009/early 2010: (have receipts)
ARB winch bumper
IPF lights
OME 850 front HD coil spring
OME N73 front shocks
OME 863 rear HD spring (constant load)
OME N74E rear shock
OME D24 steering damp.
OME Cast. kit.
IPOR skid plate
Valve cover gasket kit installed
ARB aluminum roof rack w/ fit kit, meas. 87"x49" (full)
Safari Snorkel installed and sealed.
(5) BFG AT/KO 315/75/16
Misc. over the last year: (have receipts)
Hawk HP front pads
Hawk pads rear.
New NGK iridium plugs
Radiator pressure flushed.
May 2011 (have receipts)
EMS powered header-back exhaust. HP, single cat. Sounds great.
All new U joints, front + rear.
Purchased new HP cross drilled & slotted rotors for the front and back. They come with the sale, but I do not have time to install. Sorry.
All fluids converted to Mobil 1/Amsoil full synth. when vehicle was purchased.
Regular wheel rotation, alignments, service work, etc.
Here are the issues I know of:
Tried A/C this AM and it blows cool, not really cold. Compressor works, system may have slow leak.
Parking brake sticks, probably from lack of use. Will hit it with PB Blaster.
The front seats have wear. Missing button for seat back control. broken passenger rear ashtray.
There is some rust appearing on the front of the hood. This was bubbled when I bought it from a poor bondo job. The only other area that is rusty is the rear wheel well on driver side.
The truck has only been in Buffalo, NY 1.5 years. There is superficial rust beginning to appearing under the truck. Remember, the truck hails from Maryland. Nowhere near the amount of rust you would see on a native NY truck.
And I used gorilla tape to fix a tear on the pipe from air filter to throttle body. Been that way for 15 months...
I think that's about it.
Price? Around $8900 or BO. Or Maybe $7200? Offers?
