For Sale 1996 1fz-fe/trans/transfer

Gonna be swapping a diesel into my 1996 FZJ80 late September, Early October. Thought Id post this up now so that anyone interested can come and drive the truck with everything still in it. I'll be selling the motor/trans/and transfer. Also for sale will be the Air cleaner, washer bottle, fuel lines, and other random parts that go with the gas system.

The truck has 220k miles and has been fed synthetic fluids since 1998. This was a soccer mom car and the guy I bought it from was a manager of a bigo tires. So this thing has been really taken care of. Not sure of any head gasket issues. I do have a whole book of records so I'll look.

If you want to come take this thing for a ride and check out the drive train give me a call. Please feel free to clarify any parts that you want to make it out with the engine.

I haven't done anything with the motor so I can't say. Everything is running clean and passed co emissions in June.

Gosh, I live only 60'ish miles from you. All of it? Engine, transmission and transfer case for $1K? Does that include delivery?

My Land Cruiser has 236K on it and I'm thinking of rebuilding. Would be much easier to do if I had another engine; could build it while still driving the other.

ehhh, I just noticed also that yours is a 96 and mine is 94. Not sure what problems that might cause. Not a deal breaker just have to look into it.

yes all of it. engine transmission and transfer 1k not including delivery.

another party interested in the motor had the compression and leak down test done this weekend at Go Toyota Arapahoe and all is within spec...

currently there is a sale pending. will update accordingly

Thanks for letting my check your engine out, Matt. It looks great, but I ended up getting a lower mile one. More money, but it's the same mileage as my truck so I thought I'd start there.

Best of luck to you. Your engine looks and tested great. I'd love to wheel with you with the diesel in once you are all done. Maybe we can get an early fall trail run up in high country before the trails are unpassable.

Other then the ECU, this should go into a 94 pretty easy I would think. Right ? or not so ?
