1995 T100 SR5 4x4 v6 (3.4) 5-speed
263K miles, 3rd owner
The good:
No tears in seats, factory 6 speaker stereo, cruise, cold air, hot heat.
Chrome side steps, manual hub conversion, Very nice fiberglass topper, plastic bed liner, and nice diamond plate tool box.
Runs and drives great, holds 6 people, I commute ~60 miles per day and it does great.
I average 17mpg.
Bad:
Steering wheel is torn (cover works fine)
Antenna mast is broken
CEL light - 2nd owner had trans replaced and the guy who swapped it said it would always be on. Its the temp sensor/O2 sensor code, I swapped both and it came back on. I think it might be a wiring issue?
Air Bag light is on - 2nd owner had steering box replaced because shop cross threaded the original pitman arm nut. I think the shop was not careful with the swap and let the steering wheel spin, breaking the clocking spring.
Its a truck, has some scratches, most could be buffed out if someone wanted to detail it.
I bought this truck from the second owner last September with ~240K miles. He bought it with ~17K miles on it. Great truck, in the last year I have adjusted clutch, replaced a rear u-Joint, CV axle, front brakes (rotors and pads), manual front hub conversion, and replaced O2 and temp sensors. Timing belt was last changed @ ~180K miles.
IMHO this is one of the best combinations Toyota ever made. The 3.4 will run forever if you keep up oil and timing belt changes. When I was looking last year guys were selling T100s with 400K + miles and they still looked and ran great. T100 was actually made in the HINO plant in Japan, one of their finest facilities. I had the opportunity to buy a Tundra and chose the T100 from all my research they are a better built truck.
I have two sets of rims and can adjust price depending on which set you would like or if you want both sets. One is the factory 15's with worn 235/75/15's the other is a set of 16" Tundra Steelies with 265/70/16's. I also have a Yakima rack system for the cab of the truck.
Topper, plastic bed liner, and nice diamond plate tool box.
Only reason I am selling is to buy a full size van for our family. We have 4 kids and it gets a little tight in our 4runner on trips.
I will consider trading for a 97-03 Ford E350 7.3 diesel with extended back and barn doors. The van must be clean, rust free, and prefer under 200K miles. Open to cargo, passenger, or conversion vans as long as they fit the above description.
$5500 OBO
