The copy of the 1995 service manual in the Resources section has been updated with
1. Bookmarks for each section (chapter), including
a. Preparation section, with recommend tools and materials
b. Service Specifications, specific to each section, and
c. Torque Specifications, specific to each section
2. Engine Diagnostic bookmarks, including
a. Matrix of problems
b. Engine related DTC codes (not transmission or ABS codes, these are in their own sections)
c. Relinked hyperlinks to all pages referenced in the DTC sections (matrix and DTC list)
3. Updated engine section with bookmarks for each major section
4. Torque specifications and part numbers for the front steering knuckle and axle shaft (similar to Joey's wall chart)
5. Torque specifications and part numbers for the brake sections
6. Updated most sections with common service procedure bookmarks
7. Updated Body section, Instrument Panel, with part numbers
8. Notes on common assembly problems
9. Maintenance schedule B updated with relinked hyperlinks to referenced pages for preventative maintenance
10. Removed duplicate pages (this was an artifact of the TIS download)
These changes to the manual are mainly my notes that have been compiled as I use the manual, on a regular basis (the exception are the DTC codes, which I added in their entirety, for the sake of completeness). I verify each of the set of notes with actual work, as it's performed, to ensure the notes are correct; hopefully I haven't made any grievous errors. If any are found, please PM me.
I have not attempted, in this update, to include every bookmark for each section heading, because that would tend to clutter the bookmark panel, nor every hyperlink, because I have a life (each one takes about an hour to relink, check and recheck (Adobe loses them regularly).
This update will (mostly) apply to all 3rd generation 80 series, with differences due to pagination and content, obviously.
My next two updates will be the 1994 Land Cruiser and 2000 Lexus LX470 service manuals, because they are full of notes that I have not shared.
