Yeah definitely replace the head gasket before you drive 5 miles to the store for a gallon of milk. I have my 94's maintenance stuff on a link (I think?) in my signature. My stereo amongst other things is in there.

This is pretty funny until it really happens.

do the valve adjustment, get the basic maintenance done and drive it like you stole it. if your doing a lot of driving on the beach and your truck dosnt have the cdl switch its worth while to pick one up

In the meantime, I've put thousands of miles on my truck, learned a ton about how to work on it, and had fun. I also have a spare subaru to drive if/when the 80 is out of commission with real repairs.

There's a dude on here knocking on 300k miles who still has his original hg.
