I am going to get pictures of it tomorrow. I am selling a 1993 toyota truck V6 single cab with a flippac camper on it. $3500 for the both. The truck just had it's timing belt done by the previous owner. we bought it 2 months ago and the wife doesn't think it is comfortable. She has back problems and we have sold a few cars because the seats weren't right. I will take pictures of the both in the morning and post them.

Can you swap out the seats??

seats

I thought about that, but there isn't enough room. she needs something big enough to move and stretch in the cab, and the toyota truck doesn't work. I think a cruiser would be big enough, and the seat possibilities are endless, so that is what we are going for.

Pictures

Here are the pictures of the truck and the flippac.
The flippac has a window that is broken, so the PO replaced it with plywood, and it still slides. The lighter color on the hood is fading of the paint. there are a few dents on the side of the vehicle, and the PO put a new fender on because the other one had a few dents. I have a new front valence for it as well, but just haven't put it on. It just passed emissions a few months ago, but the check engine light is on. The PO had the timing belt of chain replaced and the knock sensor replaced, but that is the code it is reading with the check engine light. I haven't tried to reset it to see if it comes back on though. I was wrong about the mileage, but there is a picture of the odometer and it is almost 209,000.
email me for questions, and I might split up the flippac and sell it seperate.

how much for the flip-pac?

Also interested in flip-pac. Do you know if it would fit 2004 extracab w/6' bed? The line forms behind alpendubber I guess. Price?

Flippac

I need to get $1000 out of the flippac. Let me know if you want to come and look at it. Aaron 801-836-2835

what part of slc?

We are practically neighbors - 13th E and Van Wink. Let me know what happens with alpendubber.

It's all yours, I won't be heading that way for about a month. Damn good deal. I looked at a smashed up one in Vail for 1200.

You are welcome to come over and look at it. I think that it will fit. The bed I have is 6' and I am not sure how wide, but the lip that sits on the truck bed is a few inches wide, so it will fit a few different trucks. Let me know if you want to look at it. 801-836-2835 Aaron

For obvious reasons it will in all likelihood be Friday or Saturday before I give you a call. Saturday will probably be best for me to come look at it. You ok to give me the grand tour that day?

Saturday should be fine. Just call me because I am going to Idaho to pick up an FJ55. If you don't end up buying it, then it would be good to have someone's opinion on here as to the shape of it. I took a risk and bought it sight unseen in flagstaff, AZ, but was happy about the shape.

Rain Fly

I also have the rain fly for it that costs $250 new. these Flippac campers cost $4000 new from the dealer, and $3600 if you buy it straight from the factory.

I looked at this today. Seems to be worth the money. Has a couple of issues but to be expected for the price. The back screen is torn, there are some what I would call "stress cracks" in the fiberglass but nothing that appears to compromise its integrity, and on the piece that folds out over the hood of the truck the fiberglass panel is separating a little. None of this would affect the actual usability of the unit. And easily home repairable in my estimation. I am thinking on this one as I have not made up my mind as to what I am going to do regarding camping accomadations. I am thinking on 3 options (no particular order).
1: I currently have a Topper. Install drawer system with mattress and crash that way.
2: Flip-pac
3: RTT - either on top of topper or sell topper and install rack system and tonneau

If this is still available when I make up my mind I will in all liklihood purchase, however, in the meantime if it sells - well, thats the way of the world. I do think it is worth the money and a great way to get into one of these at a steep discount!
