1992 HZJ73 LOUD SQUEEK

My HZJ73 has the loudest squeeking noises ever. Is this from the FRS cap or the rear doors? I can't tell. It drives me nuts. Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?

I would focus on the back door.

Yep, check doors.

Then I would go ahead and just tighten every FRP bolt there is on it. Possible they have worked loose.

On my 71 the big back door's 'half latch' position was all but closed, it looked to be properly shut, but it would squeak like a bastard. Took years to figure that out. Just needed a bit more of a slam.

I vaguely remember silicone spraying all the rubbers under the FRP on my old 74 to stop the squeak.
