Hello all!

Just joined the forum today, picked up my very first FJ80 last week, a '92 with 239k miles. It sat for 5 years in a garage in New Jersey so it needs a good amount of love, but nothing crazy, overall got a very clean truck. Just some electrical gremlins to sort out, and a bunch of past due maintenance. And boy does it need a good detail.

Currently it has one strange issue that I haven't been able to figure out quite yet, the power locks do not work at all. When "locking" it from the driver side master switch, I can hear a relay click, but no actuators operate at all. When "unlocking" I hear nothing at all, as if I didn't even press the button. Fuse is confirmed good, and 3/4 power windows work, which judging from the fuse are on the same circuit.

Tracing the circuit is proving to be troublesome for me since I can't seem to find any diagrams online, I purchased an OEM ETM manual off of eBay but it'll be at least a week before it gets here sadly, and I'd like to get this figured out sooner if I could! If someone has access to the diagram and could shoot me a photo of it, or if anyone possibly knows where to start with a common fault of sorts, I'd very much appreciate it!

Also, I'm not sure if this is related at all, but the trunk won't open at all. The keyhole also will not turn in either direction on the trunk door inside the emblem, it's likely never been used ever in the past 27 years knowing the previous owner haha.

Anyways, super glad to be on board here, I'm from a Honda/Acura background and all my favorite Honda forums are dead now, good to see there's a forum dedicated to these awesome trucks still alive and kicking!

These are the 2 pages from the EWD for the door locks.
The door lock control relay is inside the driver's door panel, the power main relay is in the driver's side kick panel, and the gauge fuse is in the fusebox by the driver's left knee.

@jonheld thank you very much! I've been lurking on these forums for the past week and came to know you as the guru for the 80s haha, appreciate your time man! I'll give a repair with the new info a whirl after it stops snowing tomorrow.

Not a guru, just some guy.

So, ended up fixing the power locks today! I had ordered a cheap used power door lock module ahead of time. I looked inside and someone had left remnants of what I assume was wiring for an alarm/keyless entry. After removing the white harness and connecting back together the wiring that was cut, I noticed that a pin was bent in the connector and melted the old module, as a temporary fix I bent the pin back until it plugged in normally without any force into the new module.

All 4 door locks work now + the trunk! The rears needed a lot of lubricating since they were sticking, I free'd up the left rear when I went to replace the window motor that was stuck, and I'll do the right rear sometime this week when it's a bit warmer out.

EDIT: Also once it's warmer out, I'll be properly re-pinning the bent pins in the connector and replacing the connector itself, the guy I bought the module from was kind enough to send me a perfect pigtail for the harness! I also have to go back in and re-solder the 2 wires that were cut, I used 2 crimps as a temporary fix.
