1991 toyota surf shifter making a rapid clicking nose (1 Viewer)

my automatic shifter is making a rapid clicking nose when i am siting in park and the shifter has a lot of play in it any idea? thanks in advance

Might have to do with a little (lockout?) solenoid that is in there. The one that keeps you from shifting when you're not supposed to. They can die apparently....
