hello i need some help my yota 1991 hilux 4x4 22re is running really bad it starts right up no problem 2nd 3rd crank nqa and will idle all day long bearly idle but it doesnt stall its is dumping fuel out the exhaust thick gassy smoke that easily ignites. its getting about 75-80 miles to a full tank of gas and wont go over 55 mph i am clueless as to what it might be if you can help that would be great

Dude,
Sounds like your valves are not sealing properly. You may want to do a leak down test on the cylinders since I'm thinking your seats on the valves are bad.

That's my $.02, I could be wrong.

Excess fuel out the exhaust often means one or more injector is stuck open. This can be very harmful for the engine as the excess fuel will be washing the lubrication oil off the cylinder walls, ruining the rings. I would get this fixed asap.

Do you get any codes out of the ecu? Have you pulled the plugs to take a look at them? When was the last time the injectors were sent out for cleaning and flow testing?
