1990 FJ62 Help (1 Viewer)

Hi All. I am hoping one of you can assist. I have had my 62 for about a year now and have been replacing parts and servicing as much a s I can. I have learned a ton from this forum so thanks!
My issue is I cannot ID this hose (See pic). It is coming out from the rear engine bay, above the starter. It had a small hose clamp on it that I used elsewhere but that tells me it may have been attached somewhere. It will not pull out any further and I cannot determine what it is or where it goes.
Any thoughts? I appreciate the assist in advance!

Possibly the vent line coming from automatic transmission that is supposed to be hooked to the transmission dip stick tube near the top

Thanks man...that was the only possible location that it would attached but it was not reaching and I was hesitant to pull too hard. Thank you!
