1990 Fj 62-263,000 original miles on engine and transmission. no rust, the truck runs good. Great truck, need to sell due to no work! Hate to let it go, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. 4" old man emu reverse shackle kit, 35x13.50 TOYO m/t tires, still tons of tread left. Full size roof rack with 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja M/T. Clean interior, electrical motors still workin'. Ice cold A/C, hot, hot heat, replaced radiator, starter, windshield, water pump. New exhaust. Askin' $6500.00. Need to sell. I will consider REASONABLE offers. The truck is almost twenty years old. Its an old truck, stock and runs solid. Don't go and make it into something that its not or expect me to tell you that its perfect. It is what it is, so keep that in mind. I have taken this from the Sawtooths in Idaho to Seattle to Bend to San Diego. Its a great rig. Located in Boise, ID. Dry Climate. Call 208-871-7152, or email silhouettefaux@gmail.com. Thanks.

I don't know the seller, but I'm close if someone would like me to check it out for them.

How long have you owned it and what has been done to the transmission?

Transmission is original, motor is all original.

So, as Bomar asked, how long have you owned it?

Also, could you give us a rundown of maintenance you have (had) done on the motor and transmission. I understand it's all original and stock, however at 262,000 miles you must have done some maintenance along the way? If not, being the newbie that I am, I would assume there are some fairly costly repairs in the near future (trans rebuild, possible head gasket??)..
You mentioned in an earlier thread that you did experience a transmission leak but you flushed some stop-leak through it which cured the problem? Would be nice to get some more background on it.

Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great rig and I might be interested but need some more info on past maintenance etc. as I'm sure others would apprciate as well.

You seem to have the picture posting down pretty good, could you post up the additional pics you have? I'd like to see some underside, interior and better engine compartment pics if possible. Like I said, I might be interested (I'm in Seattle btw), but I'm sure others would apreciate more pics as well!

Cheers, Michel

Such a nice looking rig... high miles even for a straight 6 though, so I would recommend posting compression numbers to either pacify buyer concerns, or at least dial in your fair asking price.
