I got an 88 FJ62 I am building up. There is lot's of stuff I am not wanting or planning to use in the build. Now that spring is here it seems like I should get my act together and sell this stuff off. This is a super clean FJ62 that came from Georgia. No idea why it blew the motor so early, likely p/o fail with low oil. The truck is low mileage though and super clean so I doubt it was ever taken off pavement much.
Right now, if I don't list I don't have it but you can ask, never hurts and I may have spaced some things off. I don't have any body parts or interior bits and things like the rear heater is already gone. I am keeping all the dash stuff and interior bits. I am also keeping the brake master cylinder and booster. No lights, bezels or any of that stuff either, keeping it. I am also keeping all the related A/C gear.
When I got the truck and it had no axles, no suspension and the motor is blown. Nothing has changed.
The motor has a hole in the block at about 160k miles. The dizzy is gone on it too. I already sold the radiator.
Head: is good as far as I know, I can have it magnfluxed at your expense if you want. Complete: $175 (head assembly only) + $100 if you want all the EFI stuff with it. Even $300 for the head, EFI & intake gear and the ECM.
EFI stuff & intake manifold: all there and good as far as I know, injectors and fuel rail all included: $125 or + $100 with the head. An even $150 for EFI & intake plus the ECM.
ECM: Appears to be in good condition. $50 or cheaper with package deal above.
Smog gear: all there and good as far as I know: $75obo
stock air filter housing assembly: Good condition, all there. $50
Super clean valve cover with filler cap: $25
Other motor related items: Again no dizzy! Motor is complete though with a hole in the block and in the oil pan. What are you looking for? The water pump, alt, thermostat housing and water inlet and all that stuff is just sitting here looking for a new home. Spare parts for your truck?
Complete power steering: all there and looks good, pump, lines, ect.. $150 or $250 with the box included.
Steering box: Complete $150
Auto trans: good as far as I know but that is a guess. All related gear included, like auto shifter, torque converter, ect. $150obo I am keeping the split case for now.
Drive lines: used condition, likely never rebuilt. $100 for the pair or $50/each.
Factory radio/tape deck. Mint condition: $50
Center console: grey, typical condition for age, not trashed though. $40obo
Fuel tank: Nice and all there, mounting hardware included. $150
Stock rear bumper, bit of damage but could be fixed: $25, rubber end caps in good shape.
Lot's of misc stuff like bump stops on frame, brackets and related gear for things like e-brake (keeping handle for now), fuel and brake lines, a stock spare tire and wheel, trans cross member, ect ect. $10-25 on most this stuff.
Frame: Absolutely mint condition!! You are going to just have to wait on this until I have the truck completely stripped though. I want $500 for the frame. The only issue with the frame is the rear leaf hangers have been cut off. The frame has ZERO RUST! Factory paint still present on 98% of it.
I am looking for a few parts and am willing to trade for these.
FJ60 fenders and rad support plus grill and light buckets. Basically a whole FJ60 front end. I will trade for the FJ62 stuff and what I got is near perfect. No rust and dent free, only interested in the same or close to it.
FJ62 dash cover/cap. Only after non-cracked original in good condition.
Good side emblems.
FJ62 outside mirrors.
I can provide pictures of all parts. Shipping is extra and some things will require a small packing fee. My zip is 83002.
