I have a 1988 BJ75 with integrated foglight in the bed, but no cabin switch, I found one unused cable behind the blanking plugs in the dash, but it looks like it's for something else. I know a guy with lots of spares, turns out the switches have different plugs depending on model year. So, now i'm stuck with a bunch of questions (yes, I'm probably overthinking this):

For reference, the truck, type of switches, dash and different plugs:

Which of these is correct for an '88?

Bonus question, what's this 2 pronged switch I found hiding behind a blanking plate:

@Bronevichok: thanks for the tip! I must confess I didn't think to check the catalog, all 70 series I've seen in Belgium had the lighted variant throughout the years, didn't even know there was a non lighted type. Mine is an imported work truck, so makes sense.

Over $100 shipped... ouch. Guess I'll make do with a lighted type and a soldering iron.

I'm pretty sure the switches you show in your original post are the correct type for the rear fog lamp in a 1988. My car is a 1987, but I know it's all original, and it has that type switch. The 84160-90K00 (Non-Lighted, 2 wires) switch shown above looks like the correct switch for the accessory front fog lamps.

Rear fog lamp switch would originally been in the far right position (of the four blanking plates). To the left of it would be the rear window defogger (obviously not applicable for a pickup). Next would be the rear window wiper/washer (again, n/a), and the left most switch would have been for the headlight washer, if the truck were so equipped. This info is all from the original owner's manual.

@gilmorneau: thanks for the insight. I did some further digging myself, but it's hard to find images showing the plug type, so rather than chance it (at what I consider crazy prices for a simple switch), I'll happily solder a new plug onto my wiring harness. Maybe change the bulb for a 24V if needed, should I want to wire that up as well. I'm pretty sure the dimensions are all the same, so as long as I don't have to cut my dash, I'm happy.

I installed fogs on my PZJ70 using the non lighted switch shown earlier in the thread and the plug for the switch was already there for it. Still had to do some wiring work though to make it all work.
