1988 BJ74 5 speed RHD 219,000 km. Truck has PTO winch, suspension base seats, and power windows and locks. Truck was flopped on to passenger side when I purchased it. I replaced passenger door, passenger fender, hood, rad support, grill, and rad. Plus other odds and ends. Truck runs and drives great. Frame is super clean. Body has a few rust spots, but the usual rust spots like wheel wells and under the tub are clean. Requires a new windshield. Front bumper is wrecked and PTO winch is currently not on truck. Rear bumper is off, but I have it and its in good shape. My plan was to drive it to Mexico this January and get the body work and paint done. I have since bought an HDJ81 and no longer need the BJ74. If it does not sell, I will be getting the body work and paint done in January then re listing. Truck is located in Chilliwack BC Canada. Price is 7000 CDN dollars

I forgot to mention it is a rear full floater limited slip. Here is a picture of the 13BT

With the body dented like that I'd love to drive it just as is. Keep it as a wheeler and not care about the abuse I put it through. I sadly own too many land cruisers at the moment and buying another isn't in the books

Shot of the frame. Truck also has AC but needs to be recharged because I had to discharge it to replace rad support.

Just an FYI because I see your relatively new to the forum----the last bj74 from Canada went for $3500 with similar miles here a while ago. Most were getting 5k prior but JDM market has softened since then.

I am not new to the forum, I just don't post on it. I have owned cruisers for the past 13 years since I was 15. I have also owned almost every series. The cheapest 74 i saw that sold was in Calgary for 5 thousand and it was an auto. Maybe you like driving an auto 13BT but I would not. I know what the parts are worth on this truck and have many other cruisers to use them on, like my girlfriends restored 82 BJ42 would love to have a 13BT 5 speed rear full floater installed or maybe I will just put one of my 45 body's onto this frame and do it that way. The point I'm trying to make is I'm not going to give it away. But thanks for your opinion.

FYI Bugs...dont' sh!t on his thread! Just because someone decided to give some BJ74 away for $3500, it does not set the bar for every other BJ74 that hits the market. 13B-T H55F combo alone sells for the money he is asking. If YOU don't like the price, YOU don't have to buy it!

X2 if I had an extra 7k I would buy it in a heart beat and use the eng and axels in my BJ73... This is a good deal considering all stuff it has.. Maybe tow it home when when I come to Canada..... GLWS

Not crappin on the thread. I saw a low post count and simply offered some facts about what the last bj74 sold for on this forum. And as a matter of fact- that $3500 final price it was given away at was after it had sat for quite some time at $5k......and I'm pretty sure it hadn't been rolled. I'm sorry the market has softened for these awesome rigs as I'm trying myself to sell a low mile 80 series and am bearing the same misfortune.

Again - I wasn't offering an opinion simply the facts of recent selling prices. It also sounds like your girlfriends bj would really be sweet with a$7000 13bt-5spd combo.

Sorry thanks for the "FACTS". I see you have helped other sellers with your "FACTS" like this sale thread

Where you state LHD diesels go for the same price as RHD diesels. If I were you I would start looking for a new place to find your facts.

Have you owned a diesel cruiser before or do u just like to be helpful and point out "FACTS" on people's for sale threads? Like I stated before the other truck that sold that you mentioned was an AUTO, which if you knew your facts have always went for a lot less then 5 speeds when attached to a 13BT. It also had 80,000 more km's and was for sale in a different province.

Ditto. Really irks me when people feel the need to rag on someone else's sale. You shouldn't be talking to him about price unless you want to buy it.

That said- still available?:D I have a good buddy looking for one. Nmind... just re-read the first post. Weird how it sold when you were asking more than twice what it was worth!

I wished the I knew the prices in Canada, when I purchased recently, I would have imported from Canada, I recently bid on auction in Japan for an 88 with standard specs, I missed out and allowed 15k inclusive of shipping, and now I see I lost the bid to an American yard that has this vehicle posted advertised in transit ready for sale. I don't see a slump in the Jdm space, well not in Oz anyway, you'll be right with that price, it's good value to keen eye, cheers
