I have a 1987 Mercedes 300D Turbo that I picked up from a friend of mine's Father's estate.
Basically picked it up to help him out but don't have a need for it.
From what I was told, this was a two owner car. Mileage unknown as odometer was not working when I got it. I have since fixed the odometer and got it counting again.
Good:
-TURBO DIESEL!
-Runs and drives great!
-Clean title
-Nice interior (Aside from cracked dash)
-Good Tires
-Dont leak, seep, smoke (excessively for a diesel)
-No crankcase Blow-by
Bad:
-Clearcoat peeling
-Electronics need attention (power windows, seats, radio, etc..)
Just looking to move this along.
Thought about swapping the diesel in my 80 but really too nice of a car to strip
Make a great project.
