1987 HJ60 5-speed 24V - parting chassis - WA state
Landcruiser 5-speed diesel. Has the rugged and smooth 2H 4.0 liter 6-cylinder diesel with gear-driven cam and an inline injector pump - well suited for use with alternative fuels. Properly imported - all paperwork required to title is is in place with EPA releases, duty paid, etc. I will use for a conversion later this Spring but if someone wants it - I'll sell for about my investment of $3500.
Odometer shows 156k kilometers however the prior owner indicates actual mileage is about 100k kilometers higher or <200k miles. The truck starts fine - with a puff of smoke - but runs down the road smoothly without excessive smoke and does not leak or consume oil unusually. 24V electrical system works properly.
Issues:
* Rust;
* Exterior door handles sticky;
* Passenger door locked shut;
* Ignition switch a PITA - tumbler appears to be failing;
* Generally ratty;
* Tires are mis-matched.
