Up for sale is a very rusty, 1987 FJ60 153000 miles. Truck is located in the Atlanta area on the north side. Bronze with gray interior, except for the drivers seat which the previous owner replaced it with a tan one. The interior is pretty clean and in good condition, one small crack on te dash. Everything works except for the a/c. All of the interior/exterior lights and electronic accessories work. The side marker light lenses need to be replaced but the lights do work. It is missing the license plate bezel so the license plate light is disconnected.
This is what I have done in the last month as far as new parts:
-front axle rebuilt including, new calipers/rotors/pads, brake hoses, fresh brake fluid and complete system bleed, new axle seals and bearings and fresh axle grease
-new wheel lugs and nuts
-new brake master cylinder
-new radiator hoses
-new thermostat and thermostat housing gaskets
-complete cooling system flush
-new belts
-new muffler/tailpipe section
-new catalytic converter
-new distributer cap and rotor
-new spark plugs
-new fuel filter
-new air filter
-new carburator to air cleaner gasket.
This vehicle was a lot more rusty than I thought. The frame and lower body panels have quite a bit of rust. It is a shame since the interior is very nice and the engine runs great. It will make a great parts vehicle for interior and drivetrain parts or a great hunting camp/farm truck. It is driveable and I would feel comfortable taking it anywhere. I have put over $1500 in new parts in this truck. It has 32" BFG A/T's but need to be replaced, they are pretty old and worn. Email me or call with any questions. I will send pictures on request.
