Overall, this truck has been a terrific vehicle. I do not have the time to devote to it anymore (shame). I also don't want to part it out. So I am interested in someone buying it as the whole enchilllada. I have some spare parts as well.
This would be a great project truck.... It was my first Landcruiser.
Let me know... i'm going to put a sign in the windows today.

Hi, yes, the cruiser runs. It may well make it.
I am working to identify some of the areas that are causing the poor running state.

A U-Haul tow doll would probably be the safest bet, to Blacksburg. And their cheap for one day.

Call me if you have further questions.

Few questions,

Any leaks of fluid (oil, tranny, steering)
Does A/C work without any leaks/problems
How is the clutch/tranny.

Will it make it to Wash DC?

I've been working on identifying the source of air leaks into engine. I feel this is the problem w/ the poor running.
I desmogged many moons ago and still have all the components of the emissions system. However, that being said, I should not be having a air ingress problem. I moved the FJ the other day so it's not completely immobile.
It's difficult for me now to find the time to break it all down and trouble shoot. Work kids other projects and things. So I'm hoping someone sees valve in a decent workable vehicle. She's been cared for over the years and would make a great project truck.
