if you weren't over 2800 miles away I'd see what I could do to get this for my wife.

ROAD TRIP .... It gets respectable fuel economy. :)

Here is an idea ..... Drive you 77 Series Cruiser half way and I will meet you and we can swap. .....I will be happy and your wife will be happy .... A win - win situation. :D

This thing would make an excellent Christmas gift for the hunter in your family or the beginning driver. ( seat belts and roll bar ) :D
4 Wheel drive + 21-23 mpg ..... What a combination.

Did you have the engine rebuilt, or was it rebuilt before you got the truck? Why was it rebuilt? I assume this is not an SR5 model, correct?

1) The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and he gave no explanation as to why.
2) The 4Runner is a DLX model and therefore does not have a cloth interior.
I believe that some of the SR5 models also had a sunroof where this one does not.
The engine cranks and runs very well and does not use or leak any oil.
Thanks .....

Monday morning bump ..... :)
I would like to move this vehicle within the next couple of weeks so I will entertain any "reasonable" offer ......

This doesn't have solid front axles if I am correct?

Although I am no 4Runner expert, I believe the 1985 model was the only one with a solid front axle.

84 and 85 was straight axle models.
85 was the only model with straight and efi....

All I can tell you is that what ever axle is under there is in good shape. :D

In response to several P.M.'s .... This 4Runner DOES NOT have a solid front axle.
Thanks....

I really need to move this vehicle to make room for something else.
