1986 Hilux 4x4 Extra cab, 22R-TE, Fully loaded, PS, PW, PDL, Air, Rear Defrost, Cruise, Tilt, Automatic, Moon Roof.
I bought this truck a few months ago but have to sell due to our growing family. Before I purchased it, the previous owner replaced the shocks, windshield and brakes. I have a boat load of paperwork that came with the truck including the original paperwork from the first owner.
Truck features:
-Truck currently has 274k miles on it.
-Engine rebuilt by Piercey Toyota at 168,920
-Rebuilt Turbo and new Toyota exhaust manifold at 208,019 (Coast Fuel Injection rebuilt turbocharger. Piercey Toyota did the work)
-New Radiator at 220,620
-Stock suspension with Monroe Sensatrac shocks (10k miles on the shocks)
-30x9.50-15 Falken High Country AT tires x 5 (10k miles on tires)
-Shell (added Aug. 2011)
-New front aftermarket OEM style front bumper (Jan 2012)
-New steel rear bumper (Jan 2012)
-Alpine CD/MP3/Ipod player
-Nice sounding speakers (not sure what brand, but they sound very nice)
-Rebuilt front hubs by WabFab
-Hella 500 lights mounted on front bumper
-Super clean interior
-comes with all original mud flaps
-extra chrome insert for front bumper
-other extra parts
Known issues:.
-Power antenna is locked in the up position
-Exhaust tip has a hole where it connects to the exhaust hanger.
-Cruise control does not hold speed
-Paint faded

270350 Jan 14, 2012 Replaced rear bumper with Curly's Racers fabbed bumper. Installed NGK Iridium spark plugs, NGK spark plug wires, Napa distributor cap and rotor, Napa remaned starter, Michelin wiper blades. Drain/filled diffs with Mobil 1 75w-90.
270400 Feb 15, 2012 Manual hubs sent to WabFab for rebuilding and powder coating.
271239 Apr 21, 2012 Replaced o2 sensor with Denzo unit.
273000 Jun 15, 2012 Oil change with 5w-40 Shell Rotella T6 and Toyota oil filter.
Smog done 6/21/12 good until 9/21/12
This has been a great truck. In stock form, it is quite capable off-road. I've used it to camp in Death Valley and it has completed the Mojave Road. The interior is in really great shape. The body is straight, but the paint is quite faded. It runs and drives great. Its averaging 18.4 mpg over the last 10k miles. I bought it from a good friend and He had it for 2 years, so i have a lot of info about the truck over its recent history, as well as the included paper work.
I am working on uploading pics, I am over my limit and dont know how to delete the old ones, I should have that figured out shortly and will get them up.
