Wow! Great looking rig. I wish I had room in the driveway! I also wish they made extra cabs that year, or did they? I really need a back seat, having 2 kids that like to cruise around...

Yes, they did. I own one: '85 SR5 Extracab with 22RE.

To the OP, very capable and nice looking truck. You don't find a truck--- in this capability--- this clean everyday. GLWS. I'm restroing mine as we speak. These trucks climb up in price almost daily, especially '84-85. :)

it sure is nice and is already done for DD or medium wheeling rig. want to trade for an fj40 and some cash on my part

I can vouch for Rick's description of this truck, Very nicely built and PROVEN rig! I have been on trips with Rick in Baja and the Rubicon Trail and this truck is great, probably priced too cheap for what you get. Someone is going to be very happy to own this. GLWS John Pardi

Nice endorsement John, I like the truck but as pickups go I thought it was priced a little high, but you might no more about that then me. In any case it looks to be a great rig. I have called and waiting for a call back or ill call later. I unfortunately have 5 vehicles including 2 cruisers, I don't want another in my driveway. But that being said I have to sell the 68 California 40,and I would only sell if I could get his rig. Now if this happens I need a place to leave it until I can get back to the rubicon an rubithon. In any case hopefully this works out for me and him.

James, I do not have any phone message or PM from you. Try calling ma again at the number in the ad or pm me about the Truck. Yes, John is a great friend. I was in Toys on the Rocks for 7 years but moved back to San Diego in 2007 and brought the truck back with me. John rode with me for a week in this truck in Baja and lived to tell about it. By the way, I drove up to Placerville from San Diego in one day and did the Rubithon this June and drove home the next day in comfort.
