Bump for a good looking 70 series.

Is it turbo'd? Sounds like the previous owner ran a straight pipe? Sounds throaty and great on my 3B but is loud as hell!

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks. It is non-turboed. There was a resonator on the previous owners exhaust. I have a muffler on it now. The PO's exhaust routing was interesting, but didn't work very well.

Couple other thoughts:

- There is no bondo, despite the rock guard.
- I had a small hole patched with metal on the PS rear inner wheel well. It was near the bottom, front area.
- The rock guard comes off very easily with spray on paint remover. I removed the paint on the drivers lower door to see the condition, and sand blasted the rust and then repainted.

nice little 70, i think when we patch up my dads 70 he should rock guard the side of it.

what does it have for rust? how is the undercarriage?

I'll see if I can get some pictures posted up tomorrow, as they'll do a better job at showing the condition of the truck. The truck is originally from Edmonton. I'm amazed it's in as good as condition from being from there.

Bump for a pretty rig. Wish I was on that side of the country!

Took some photos today.

I installed a 4.10 diff out of an FJ80 that ended being in excellent condition (got it for $300). Just need to get another one for the front (which I now have). Power and driveability is much better now :) Didn't get rid of the vibration, however. Gonna have to look at the driveshaft.

More Photos of BJ70

Thanks for another bump... not sure I want it sold though. I just put in new Toyota u-joints in the rear driveshaft today.

Looks like I'm going to be selling the tires and wheels. I'll be putting on stock wheels and 33x10.50 BFG AT's.
