I'm looking for $2000
I got this 4runner in October of 2010 as a running/semi-driving project but it is no longer running. It needs a new bottom end, as the current one was put together poorly and is no longer runable. It is salvagable, but currently does not run. The top end is in great shape with very little miles on it and LC Engineering Stage 2 cams. Here are the specs off the top of my head.
1985 4runner red
3RZ swap using the ORS Harness.
Motor had been "rebuilt", just not done quite right. It was bored .40 over, not sure on the rest of the internal specs.
R150 with a v6 chain drive case
LC Engineering Stage 2 cams.
Marlin Crawler R series Bellousing
Only rust around the windshield frame
Seats from 96 Honda Accord
Rebuilt front axle wiht Marlin seals
Hi-steer with Trail Gear drop pitman arm
IFS Steering box
Long travel front shock hoops.
Optima Red Top (For anything less than 2K, I will probably keep it.)
LC80 Series master cylinder and rebuilt brakes.
Rear window works fine.
Top in good shape, headliner is peeling a little.
Front floor covered with roll on bedliner material.
Slightly Lifted (was on 33's but they were stolen, so now on rollers, which I should probably keep if any way possible).
Aluminum Radiator
New Heater Core
New Fuel Filter/Strainer
New OEM Plugs
New Plug Wires
Extra DME
Wheel Spacers in front
Can't remember if IFS rear or not
Probably more stuff, just can't remember off the top of my head.
Ready to go with title in hand.
Picking it up from the mechanics over the weekend, so will have pics soon, but can provide original build thread if you want.
Runner is in Apison, TN. Right outside of Chattanooga.
Would love to trade up on a 3rd gen 4runner with a manual trans.
