Hi all,

Started ripping out my the old stereo from over a decade ago to install a new bluetooth unit and came across some unused plugs and was hoping someone knew what they were for. I’m mainly looking for the constant and switched power for the new radio but it seems one too many stereo installations have happened previously and they’ve been cut out or I’m completely missing them in my search.

Whoever installed the previous radio hacked it together and so I'm hoping to hook back into the factory harness if possible as the current setup doesn't save radio presets or any other info.

There's 3 plugs in total that I found that were unused.

Also, I see in previous threads that a yellow wire is used for constant power and a red with blue tracer wire for switched but I don’t have a red wire. Maybe the PO removed it?

First is in the general radio area with yellow wires. One with a black tracer and one with a green tracer. I think this one may be for the factory radio power.

Second two plugs are behind the rear wiper, defroster, and rear heat controls but are not used for any of those controls.

Any ideas??

I wanted to resurrect this thread. I just took my dash off and found the same thing. I have gone thru the wiring schematics and don’t see anything like the connector in the first photo. Anyone else have an idea?
