For Sale 1980 HJ-47 Troopy- LHD

OK Listen up, THIS IS NOT MY TRUCK. I have nothing to do with it, I just saw it on a German website.

It is located in Southern France. It was first registered in 1979 and states it only has 70,000KM (43K miles). It is diesel so I guess from that info it is a 2H. I am guessing that is original paint. It looks like it even has a rack. In French it does say he will send additional photos.

They want 7000 euro, currently that is about $7,850 USD. No further Knowledge.

If I weren't finishing my HJ-47 and trying to buy a house in DC I would jump on it. If anyone actually does buy it please tell me - I would be happy to know I helped someone get a hard to find Troopy. Good Luck!!

It is just an H vs 2H being a 1979... I think the 2H started 8/9ish of 1980. Looks pretty good. I'm in southern Germany... not too far away.

Yeah, Whitey you bring up a good point. But with it being a LHD, and there are so many people who get RHD Troop carriers from OZ, I figure someone might jump on it since it is left hooker. If I had seen it 6 months ago, I would have bought it instead of my RHD HJ-47 gasser. But that just opens up another can of worms.

Damn, only about a two hour drive from my place in France...the issue is that I am in the US until late September, doh! I even have a spot to park it there.

Definitely an H. Euro front doors and pop- out windows in the rear. Look just like my 1980 I sold a few months back. Great price. Shipping will be $$$.
