Just testing the waters. This sits in the garage and gets run every few months or so. It is a RHD 1980 FJ56 Fire Engine from Japan. Everything works including the pump and is ultra clean. It has 13,500+/-KM Original or roughly 8+ thouand miles. It runs and drives like new. The tires look to be original or close to it and would need to be replaced before going freeway speeds. The wife and I used it for our wedding and now it just sits. Looking to possibly trade for a 50-60's 4 seat car with fins on the back or a porsche 911 convertable or FJ45 wagon or some other rare cruiser or something the wife would want. I love this truck so not interested in selling it but rather trading it for something more suited to "sunday cruise with the family". Let me know what you have. Again I will emphasize testing the waters to see whats out there for trade. I can't believe I just posted this....

Pic is in Shell Beach,CA and as far as value, Unsure as I have not seen any for sale or sold prices lately. I do know if you want one you would have a hard time finding one!

Man i have googled and goolged and cant find anything quite like that. Man that is an awesome rig. I did find a few 55 utes but not quite in the same category as yours.

I've got a 1960 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan I'd trade. It's a daily driver not a show car. Mechanically sound with a smooth running 350/TH350,new Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, new 65,000 volt HEI distributor, newchrome valve covers w/breathers, new complete front disc brake system, new rear drum brakes, new fuel tank & sending unit, new 2" lowering spings and shocks front & back, new door weatherstripping(not installed yet), newly uphostered original bench seats in vinyl, new winshield wiper motor, new chevy chrome baby moon wheels w/caps, new grand am gt radials, new package tray. The roof and taillight panel have been painted with a heavy metal flake with 8 coats of clear.
I've been working on this ride for the last 9 months. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. Things I still need to do; new original pattern door panels, headliner, replace floorboards, straighten all chrome trim and rechrome, bodywork & paint(in this order).
I'd feel very confident to drive this car from Oregon to New York and back

This car has spent it's entire life here in the Northwest. I have the original dealer paperwork. Original green paint which has faded into a beautiful jade color(I will repaint it this color).
All receipts kept in a nice tall stack(still growing)
