Hey guys, Im desperately trying to get my temp gauge working on my 2f. Oil pressure and fuel gauges work however. The temp sender is receiving up to 12v but still isnt working. Are the temp and voltage guages somehow connected? My wiring diagram says they are connected (for tandem) however i dont know what it means by tandem either, so another question would be, what does it mean by tandem and how can i see which one of got (for tandem) or (except tandem)

The temp sender in the head is a variable resistor. Check the ohm's cold then hot - it should be different or it isn't working.

sorry for wasting everyones time i grounded the sender and it went hot so ill get a new sender
Check that it has a good ground at the head before you rush and buy parts.

By volt meter do you mean ammeter? There are two types, and they commonly get fried. Check how its actually wired up.
