Agree, but would look closely at the frame. With that much tub cancer it's likely that the inner channels on the frame are equally corroded.
Sold my first 40 for that reason and the body was far nicer. Have kicked myself numerous times as everything was there including AC, had never been outside without the hardtop, I just didn't know enough about sourcing a frame back in the days of the LC mailing list....if only I knew then what I know now, I'd still have a very nice daily driver.

That seems very low for a running ‘79!
