How do the top and doors fit? If they fit and look ok, id probably run it as is. When I was installing the drivers floor, I horsed it to meet the outer rocker and it ended up moving the rocker in. No-one would have noticed, but the body shop fixed it anyways. They also used a hydraulic push/puller to move the B pillars into square. Im rambling.

Delete all these pics and forget about it.

You will be the only one that knows the quarters are out a 1/2".

Hahahaha, I should:banana::banana::confused::confused:

I figured it would be good info for the masses!!

As long as I go down the road and it doesn't look like I'm going sideways...:eek::eek::censor::censor:

You've done awesome work, Douglas!!

I think your 1/4"/side will work out just as it is... Do as Ryan suggested and delete the pictures.

I've made copies, if you need them later. ;)

Thanks!!! Next time I'm on Las Vegas I'll look you up and we can reminisce over those pics!!

As soon as the top and doors on I'll post up. I'm hoping, fingers crossed, that it will look fine.

Hey @oldschool4wheeling , might have to say :censor: it and cut it and add a piece in. If you do, take your time and fit it so there's enough gap to get good penetration. If you don't you'll end up grinding all the weld off and leaving a crack. Then doing it again. (ask me how I know) Good Sh!t! lol :bang:

Are the quarters flared out at the bottom? If so, maybe cut it loose at the bottom and pull the lower part of the quarters in?

I like @gator25 's suggestion, it might set you back a few hours but you will have the satisfaction of the win.

I spent many years building cabinets, and doing cabinet installation, along with a bit of trim work. I decided that I was my own worst enemy. I'm the only one who knew where all the problems/mistakes were when nobody else could even see them. Yes, I'm picky, just like you are. I would often go back and correct mistakes, because it made ME feel better.

@gator25 and @rkymtnflyfisher

As the crow flies, Gator you drive northeast to Tennessee, Ryan you drive southwest to Tennessee, and meet at my house in Nashville! :steer::steer:

I will have all the beer we care to drink.:beer::beer: Stay as long as you like. Oh yeah while your here, my tool box is open and my wrenches are ambidextrous.:wrench::wrench::wrench::clap::clap:

@handcannon, yep, that is how I am.

Not to be a perfectionist but ......

We will see when the top and doors are on. That is when I'll make my final decision. If it looks good then I'll run with it. I'm hoping , as stated earlier, I can delete these pictures and forget about it!!

My dear ole dad taught me how to read a tape measure. He would say "Those little hashmarks mean something too." 8th, 16th, 32nd.. :hillbilly:

Well lets see.... I started the day, mowed the yard, cut down 4 cypress trees that didn't make last summers "drought". Cut up the trees and hauled them in the rubbish pile. Weedeated the yard and raked all the leaves from the flower beds.

(Cracking Knuckles)....Ok time for some serious work.... CRUISER TIME!!

Bolted up gas tank. Put a fresh charge on the battery.

Pulled the choke all the way out..... pumped the accelerator ....... and BAM!! She fired right up!!

Not bad for a 6 month slumber.

Could not help myself and took her for a romp though the neighbors field. Well a short romp. I didn't realize I was literally "out of gas".

1. remove gas cap (beer can)

2. Insert gas hose (siphon hose)

3. Pump the gas ( well pour it out of gas can into funnel)
