Selling my 1979 FJ40. Hard top, hard doors, minor rust but nothing crazy. Most has been dealt with. 140k miles

Good Stuff:
-4.5" custom lift with IVD 2.0 rebuildable shocks. Drives surprisingly well, defeats a 30 degree RTI ramp.
-4.88 gears with ARB's front and rear
-35" tires
-Disk brakes front and rear
-SM465 trans
-Refreshed 4 speed 1 piece case with Valley Hybrids case braces
-New Parking brake
-Custom long travel front driveshaft, rebuild properly lengthened rear
-Interior tub sand blasted, rust cut out and Line X'd, a very nice job by Line X
-2f runs well, Weber 38mm carb, DUI Ignition
-New Optima
-Factory Trim
-Absolutely ripping stereo (comes out if not purchased for full price)

The less than Good but not too Bad stuff:
-Electrical is iffy. Everything works for the most part but it was next on the list.
-Mini Truck power steering has survived a lot, works, but it's a little sloppy. Needs steering pivot assembly if you keep the current power steering, I'd just upgrade to FJ60 or Saginaw
-Seats are shot, although they work
-Door seals should be replaced
-As it sits won't pass CA smog, have a few of the hard to find components
-Needs a new dual battery solenoid
-One of the Optima batteries is hammered, a terminal broke off on the trail a few years ago and we literally melted a terminal back in there, haha. Works fine, but for the sake of disclosure its there.
-Windshield got a crack that spread on a trail ride.

I pulled the old transfer case out a few months ago to rebuild, got the case back but haven't been able to put it back it. I'd be glad to take care of it. If you want the truck as is I'd be willing to knock a little off the price.

I think $14,500 is a fair price for the truck up and running in all of its glory.
