Year: 1978
Make: Toyota
Model: Land Cruiser FJ55

I bought this less than a year ago and it has been awesome. Great off road and still does 80 down the freeway. I just got engaged and the fiance needs a safe rig to drive so I am looking to trade or partially trade for an FJ80. The rig is located at the moment in San Carlos, Mexico (4 hours south of Nogales, AZ. Just drove it down there from L.A. in Dec. '06). Can do the business in AZ. Since I have to post a price I'm gonna say $7,000 but like I said I would rather trade for an FJ80. The vehicle hasnt given me any trouble at all. It does need a new clutch but that will be installed before I sell/trade it. There is some rust on the body but it isnt too terrible for a pig. Have a guy lined up to do the body work and paint, but will only be done if I keep it. It has two dents. One above the back left window and 1 very minor ding in the right rear/side.

Mods:
- Chevy 350 v8 mated to a yota 4 speed manuel and a stock tcase
- Power Steering from a Ford Pickup
- Spring over conversion
- Track Bars in the rear
- 4 wheel Disk breaks
- Double bilstein Resevoirs in the front and single in the rear
- 8000lb Winch
- Double Batteries
- 4 35" Pro Comp X-Terrains w/ 60-70% tread
- 1 35" BFG Mud Terrain that has never been mounted 100% tread
- Front Bucket Seats out of a Mustang
- Pioneer CD player
- Custom Rear bumper with 2 Gas cans and C02 carrier and receiver hitch
- Custom Front bumped with winch mounted
- Magnaflow Exhaust

Like I said its a pig so there is some rust. Everything mechanical works great. Probably will need new rear spring within the next year or so. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I hate to let her go but like I said I need a DD Fj80 for the future wife. The vehicle turns heads wherever you go.
