This truck is destined for the auctions but I wanted to share it here. I now have all papers in hand (finally) and trucks ships January the latest. Will be tagged in Tampa, Florida.

My company Volcan 4x4, LLC is now a registered Florida dealer with $25,000 bond. I have taken deposits for 3 trucks so far sight unseen and delivered one with 2 in process. Sold 6 trucks so far. This is a full time business for me and I am focusing on quality and my clients.

1978 FJ43 repainted in original Sky Blue. One owner Doctor owned.

This FJ43 is believed to have around 115,000 miles and is the most original FJ I have found so far ( I actually bought a 68,000 mile Patrol recently). The odometer shows 83,000 km but we believe it has rolled over once.

The truck has custom seat covers which is why the interior is nearly 100% original.

Note this truck has...

original Toyota glass
Toyota radio delete plate
tool kit
jack
90% or more original interior including door cards and sun visors still in plastic
recent repaint including we repainted the fenders separately in paint booth
original key
hubs
16 inch split rims
body is all original and looks undamaged ever
under the truck original toyota paint never painted underneath

We added..
recent paint correct code color
5 new 7.50 x 16 Pirelli tires
extensive mechanical review including brakes, etc
new battery soon
new muffler
new traditional Toyota soft top
leaf springs reviewed and leveled
4 new Tokico shocks
repaired original seat tears but will just detail and leave them original
6 new seat belts
truck gets new custom vinyl floor mats front and rear
exhaust gets overhauled and the bumper cushions removed

Drives....
I drove the truck several times and plan to drive it more. It drives like it has power steering (it does not) with the 7.50 tires and the steering all reviewed. The engine is very quiet and tight and the 4 speed shifts perfectly. Has 4 drum brakes. Will drive it high speed (55 mph haha) in Tampa and have my mechanic review it too.

You can see this truck from 10 blocks away. People love it.

Her name is Marina after the "azul marina" paint.

This can be in your garage in January.

Some photos... Truck really pops in the sunlight. Original interior photos... needs detailing and we put in our custom floor mats like our other trucks have...

More photos.. I bought a very nice truck but we still put 3 months of work into it. Lots of paintwork where we caught oversights, new top and complete mechanical review.

Really can't wait to see people's reaction in the USA when they see this truck... truck had smaller tires on it in this photo but you can see how great it looks from further away.

This one should arrive late January 2015. Ships out Jan 14th or so I hope. Truck has 100% original interior. Front seats have some patina but I prefer to keep original on this one.

Better pic. The Colombian spec FJ43s have the cool rear step to pile the passengers in. this one has all original near new rear seat covers.

Need to lose that hitch ball. debating whether to put the original pintle hook back on or leave it open for passengers. This is the best truck I found so far and personally would love to keep it but can't afford to.

I dropped the price to $45,900. My favorite truck so far. This one ships out soon. The manana effect in Colombia can sometimes be no fun.

Final photos. We put 15 inch repro rims with hubcaps on it and 30 inch radial AT tires. Love the manual steering. Very tight low miles FJ43. No mechanical issues once we got it to Tampa other than the rear brakes were grabbing. My other olive FJ43 needs a steering box and a new carb. Amazing color and condition. Will be very hard to find another one like this one.
