1978 fj40 for sale

Up for sale is my 1978 FJ40. Runs great and has been garaged since I have owned it.
I used it for a DD for the first two months I had it. Then a few camping trips with it. That's where the mileage comes from.
For those that don't know, this is the most wanted year. Debatable yes, but with front disc brakes and the last year of the thicker sheet metal
it's great stock. Add rear disc brakes and power steering (which this has) and you have a great machine.

The nuts and bolts:

* Small block 400 chevy 4 bolt main with 102,000
* Just installed new accel distributor cap and plug wires.
* Runs strong. Will run 65 on the freeway all day. - Is due for a new timing chain but that's it.
* Custom exhaust with cross over in front of oil pan
* New master cylinder last year - bought from downey off road
* DRB Rear disc brakes bought from man-a-fre (MAF Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit E-7/80)
* Rear end rebuilt last year with rebuildable eaton posi as carrier and new stock ring gear. Rear end did not need to be locked up just reliable.
* line lock installed - disconnected parking brake because I did not like the stock drum brake on the rear drive shaft. (still have the parts)
* power steering conversion
* advance adapters twin stick transfer case shifters
* muncie SM465 tranny (4speed) rebuilt with new collar to fix 4th gear pop out - parts from Novak.
* 6" advance adapter to xfercase
* 4"lift
* 35" goodyear mtr tires plus spare
* Taurus electric fan - runs at 190 in the summer! Awesome!
* Auto meter carbon fiber water temp and oil pressure guages
* Rebuilt holly carb to 630 CFM with extended vent tubes to curb stalling on angles and inclines.
* Stock xfercase rebuilt when tranny was pulled for service. Parts from S.O.R.
* In line fuel regulator set to 5 lbs
* PRP racing seats
* High lift jack.
* Uniden CB radio
* KC lights
* New ignition cylinder and key
* New rear ambulance door lock with key.
* Truck was painted factory Freeborn Red in late 2004.
* Rust free body!
* Interior tub is dura-back coated
* Both stock jump seats included as well.

The rest of the truck is stock. Top is removable, and I will include the bikini top from specter off road. Truck has driver and passenger seatbelts that work!
The only problems with the truck is the driver side rear fender is turned in, the driver door latch covering is cracked, dash pad missing, crack in windshield, knobs for folding windshield has new bolts vs. knobs (still folds) and it does not have the headliner installed. All cosmetic that's it!
