Looking for the following cowl / firewall pieces.

Air inlet portion of firewall to include the exterior vent panel.
Heater firewall brackets.

I'm just looking for the extra brackets themselves so if you can very meticulously drill out the spot welds that will be fine. If you think you will damage them then please provide cut out portions.

Thanks!!

Just curious if what is different on a 78 from a 77? Tub change was 1/79. Won't be until winter until I'm at the location but have a parts 78 cowl that probably has everything you need. It was off a rust free AZ FJ40 that was in a accident.

Not really sure. I have a 79 troopy from the UAE that did not come with factory heat I am trying to add to. I just know the shape of the the cowl is the same from 78-79, not really sure of the 77 though

Certain parts might be the same but not the entire cowl. A pillars are different. 78 has a large transmission tunnel cover while 79 only has a inspection plate with cowl including a section that was a separate piece. Mating cowl and tub between is not straight forward. If you had 78 instead of a 79 would recommend changing the whole cowl. That's my plan for my 65 FJ45LP-B. 79+ is not as easy to change. Not sure what all parts were effected but 79 has lighter gauge metal. Believe heater parts were the same 74+. Some minor changes to blower and heater housings but none that should effect mounting to the cowl.
