I recently inherited a bj40 which was the car used on our coffee farm in Costa Rica by my father and grandfather. It was fairly beat up so I am in the process of fixing it up. One of the improvements I am doing is adding a 14b engine to it.

I searched but had issues finding a detailed swap for this. We have the 14b flywheel with the B bellhousing. Should we use the b bellhousing if so what flywheel should we use and what starter should we use the b or the 14b.

I’ll include some pics when I am at the workshop.
Thanks!

AlbertoSD is doing this 15bt swap.. not sure how close the 14bt is with the 15bt but it’s all the same family and close to the 3b/13bt . Here is his build thread.
