Dealer 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser (NOT MINE)

Anybody seen this? I had a friend that was looking at it. Any thoughts? Seems high though I know nothing about the 40 series. I also believe it doesn't include doors or a top at that price either...

no, a friend of mine asked what I thought I of the truck. I haven't seen it in person. It would have to be pretty original and in mint shape to bring that price I'd imagine.

For a rig that cost less than $8,000 in 1978, the "dollar investment" is roughly $31,000 today (@ 3.58% annual inflation).

I hope for $39,000 this dealer gets you a special parking spot in front of his finance manager's car.

Yea, I might send your friend looking at some other avenues.
If 40k doesn't seem to scare him off, there should be a range of other fantastic cruisers in his wheelhouse that would offer more for less.
