Hi there fellow cruiser nuts! So I have come to terms with the fact that I have too many projects than I have time to complete and something’s got to go! So on that note I am offering up my project 45 package.
The truck: 1977 FJ45, 2F 4speed. The frame has a significant amount of rust in it to the point that it has pretty much broken on both sides in the common place just behind the cab and as a result it is movable under its own power but is not drivable.
I have, a long time ago, bolted on joining plates at the cracked joints of the frame to alleviate it from snapping in half altogether.
The front end of the truck including fenders, hood, aprons, bib, etc are all in great restorable shape i.e. little to no rust.
The fenders were replaced just before I got it years ago with OEM ones.
The windshield frame is done and needs replacement.
The doors are rusty at the bottoms and need repair.
The hard top has rust in the corners and needs repair.
The drivers side seat is not stock. The cab floors need replacement panels etc.
The box and tailgate are all still there but all need replacement or repair.
The engine is all there, original and runs very well
The drive line had no issues before it was parked
The package comes with the following:
Another hard top cap, back and sides also needs work but not as bad as the one on the truck.
Hard top cap front lip repair piece
One good passengers door
One late 60’s, I was told ’67, LWB FJ45 donor frame that is in great usable shape and has only surface rust. Not rusted through anywhere. To my knowledge there may be some differences regarding steering that would need to be changed over but dimensionally it should accept all the body and gear parts from the later model without too much fussing around.

This is definitely a project rig and I think priced accordingly, with great potential for the right person.
