Nice attention to detail.
Got any pics of the engine compartment and undercarriage?
Is there a backstory on this one?
Thx.

I do have pics of the engine compartment. They were actually taken during the restoration about 5 months ago. I promise it still looks that good, maybe better since the engine was dusty at the time of the photos. Ill stick those on the photo bucket site tonight.

There are actually pics of the undercarriage on the photo bucket now, Ill add a few more I took during the restoration.

The 45 is originally from Canada. It factory color was sky blue.

I bought it from a guy in Montana.
When I got it it was in great shape, the guy who sold it to me was real honest and a great guy to deal with, we still talk.

When I got it I tore the 45 down to the frame and restored it. As you can see from the pictures, I'm very particular and spend allot of time on detail. I decided to go with Dune Beige instead of the factory sky blue.

I'd say the truck is very near showroom condition. Ive actually been asked about 15 times if the truck is a new Toyota model. Most could not believe it was from 1977, literally didn't believe me.

Originally I was planning on keeping it forever seeing it's they are so rare anymore, especially one in this great shape, there isn't even a dent in the bed. But it always seems like there isn't enough time for me to enjoy it. So it spends most its time covered in the garage.

Any other questions I'm happy to answer.

Yes, there is a story on this one. He took this rust free truck from my shop in Montana to Hawaii. He then tore it all down again and put the right color paint
on it. Congrats Chad. Good job.
