SC 1976 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ40 Hard Top with Chevrolet 350ci Small Block

Great running and driving FJ40 with Clear Title in-hand, solid frame and overall good body with some body-rot for sale. Whether you are looking to do a full restoration, have a sweet beach cruiser, or do serious mudding/rock-crawling; this is the vehicle! Transmission is a stock 4-Speed Manual. This vehicle always starts right up, and the 350ci Small Block Chevy V8 runs strong.
Lex-Tech of James Island inspected and re-wired the electrical system and installed a brand new Interstate MT-78 875 CCA Battery.
Currently has just over 50,880 miles and runs GREAT. Have driven confidently over 700 miles on the highway. This FJ40 will actually go faster than you probably need, or want to go on the highway. BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tired have 80% tread remaining. FJ40 is driven recreationally approximately once a week, so mileage will vary at date of purchase.
Recently changed Oil/Filter, Gear Oil in Diffs and Transmission, Air Filter (K&N), and installed new High-Temperarure ACCEL Ceramic Spark Plug Boots, Wires, and Copper Plugs. Pictures below do not show the areas of corrosion that I chiseled-off. I also knocked rust off of the front number and frame, and re-painted.
Had it up for sale originally due to my wife's hatred of it; she really wanted us to get a TJ. I did not try too terribly hard to sell because I Love it and have dreams of a frame-off restoration with a Cummins 4BTA some day. Today my wife has a better argument, as I have a pending deployment; she wants the garage back for her car.
MODIFICATIONS:
-Engine: Chevrolet (GM GoodWrench) V8 Small Black 350 cubic inch crate motor with Holley Carburetor and Edelbrock Air Cleaner.
-Power Steering Pump.
-High-Lift Trail Jack mounted to Front bumper.
-Fold and Stow Rear Bench Seat with LATCH System.
-Tailgate/Ambulance Door Opening has been welded closed and painted.
-After-Market Fuel Gauge.
-Corbeau Moab front racing seats.
-American Racing AR62 "Outlaw II" Wheels with anti-theft lug nuts.
-Chrome Fuel Door.
-Battery re-located to rear tub inside a battery box; has power-cutoff switch.
KNOWN ISSUES:
-Speedometer, and Battery Gauge are functional along with after-market Fuel Gauge. Other gauges are not functional.
-Some areas of superficial and full-thickness body rust/corrosion. Overall the body is in good condition, though there are some bad spots on the bottom skin looking-up toward the rockers, sides of the rockers, and door.
-Driver's Side Headers have been dimpled to allow steering shaft clearance for Power Steering Pump.
-Driver's Side Exterior Door Handle return spring need to be replaced. Door does open from the outside, but handle must be pushed-down before closing.
-Top of Radiator may be forming leaks; will need pressure-test/repair or new radiator within the next year. JB Weld has been added to prevent leaks.
-Body Rot below doors and underneath rockers on the bottom skin.
