Up for sale is my 1974 Toyota FJ40. I have been working on this rig for about 8 months now and I have ran out of money. I need to sell A.S.A.P. The body has been gone through, new paint, Sherwin-Williams : paint code#7924, with Sherwin-Williams Performance Plus Clear Coat : Code #CC940, new LineX, new seat covers, all parts have been sandblasted and painted or powder coated. This Cruiser had a frame-off reconstruction in 1998. This Cruiser has custom long springs from Alcan (5" lift), Shackle Reversal in the front. The front axle is 3" forward of stock, the rear axle is about 5" aft of stock. Front drive shaft is a custom long travel drive shaft. Front axle has a Lock-Right, the rear is open, but I have a Lock-Right for it. The front axle has the Mini Truck disc brake swap done. The front axle has new burfields with Newfield Heavy Duty joints. It come with a custom front bumper. The interior has been recovered with replacement vinyl from Cool Cruisers, Has a Tuffy console for the center between the front two seats. It has a brand new front windshield with brand new factory weather-stripping. Its brand new seat belts form Cool Cruisers. I put new bushwacker fender flares when I painted the Cruiser. The Cruiser is running on 35" BFG Mud T/A. I Motor is a 2F block that came out of a 1978, the head is a 1974, this combo came from Mark Whatley on the Land Cruiser mailing list. The motor had been rebuilt with new pistons, cam, oil pump, crank, and had the rods balanced. This motor had a compression of about 9.5 to 1. The motor has locked up and is about to go to the machine shop to get honed. I just want to sell and move on to something different. I have done alot of work and I hate to sell but just tired of this project. This Cruiser would make a dream come true for some one. I have about $14,000.00 in this Fj40. I will take $10,000.00 AS/ IS. I have all the parts to this Cruiser, and I have a lot of new parts to go with it. I have a soft top, soft doors: full soft doors, half soft doors, i have full hard doors. Hard top.
