I have a 1974 FJ 40 that is just getting the finishing touches on a frame off restoration. This was originally a factory soft top model - now has hard top. It has a 1970 F engine installed that has about 50,000 miles on it. Carb has been re-built. Has a 3 speed floor shift transmission. It has a 4" Skyjacker custom lift, front disc brakes, custom front and rear bumpers and power brakes. The entire vehicle was sanded to bare metal. Has very little bondo - was finished like it was when new - with riveted areas visible, etc. I did not want to cover the whole vehicle with filler. Looks great. It is also equipped with an original front mat, later model tilt wheel, front and rear heat, new gas tank, complete new exhaust, new headliner, new seats, mirrors, windshield glass, weatherstripping, etc. It has 12" wide, 15" Alcoa aluminum, one piece wheels with 35-14.50-15 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted white letter tires with good tread. Frame and tub are matching numbers. Everything works as it should.
This is a really nice restoration of a very good original FJ40. Located west of Winston-Salem, NC. Call 336-345-0630 if you have questions or want to come check it out. I can deliver for a reasonable fee, if needed.
Asking $17,500.00. Might be interested in partial trade for 24+ foot enclosed car hauler.
I can send more photos - I could only upload 3 for some reason. Thanks

In my original description I noted that it had a 1970 F engine. I should have also noted that the trans was out of a 72 or 73. I got it from Greg in Andrews, NC. The seat is from the same 1970 as the engine. This cruiser was missing the seats and drivetrain when I got it. A previous owner had evidently started a V-8 conversion and didn't get very far with it. Sorry for any confusion.

PRICE DROP TO $14,500.00. Need to sell. Will be listing on Ebay this weekend if can't get it sold here.
Feel free to ask questions or make an offer. Many hours and dollars invested in this one. Thanks.
