Thanks to all for the invaluable information here. I've learned a lot about these cars in the past few months. I'm more into Chevys myself (sorry) and my '72 Blazer will be back from the paint shop shortly... Therefore would like to sell my '74 FJ rather than dive into a resto. Great original and restorable LC if you're looking to do one right. Thanks for looking, I'm open to offers.

1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. All original, and unrestored with 85,300 miles.
VIN FJ40168323, engine F526890, 3-speed manual. January 1974 production date. It has the original "1.5F" or "F.5" engine which was a transition between the 1F and 2F, and this unit was produced before the change to 4-speed trans in 1974. Also has rare factory rear heater and PTO winch.
Excellent frame, body has sheet metal rust in the typical areas, but has not been tampered with, modified, or "fixed" by previous owners.
This unit is an excellent candidate for a full restoration, or drive it around as it is -- it works unbeliveably well for being off the road so long.
$6,500.
