For Sale 1973 to 75 FJ40 Under the seat Tool Bag Straps

It's my understanding these type of straps were used in the FJ40 between 9/72 to 9/75 to hold the tool bag under the drivers seat. I decided to see if there is interested in these, so a made some up. These have metal hardware, zinc plated. The straps are 1" nylon kaki color and sewn with polyester thread, size V92. The short straps are approx 4 3/4-5" not including the hardware. Stk was about 4 3/4" The long straps are approx 12 1/2" long which is longer than the stk ones were. I think stk was around 9 3/4 to 10". These can easily be cut to length, then use a bic lighter to melt the cut ends so they don't fray. The stk straps were cloth or canvas or something like that and the hardware was slightly different. The the old black strap is what I removed from my 5/75 FJ40, idk if it was stk or not. Each set is $38 each plus $10 USPS priority shipping. Paypal Friends and Family. Shipping to the lower 48. I have these in my 73, the D ring connection is hard to use under the seat so I never use the tool roll. Could you make a set with a different style connector, say like these (not the cat that insisted to be in the picture)? I can send a roll of the strap material and these connectors.

So obviously, the 1st sets were sold pretty quickly. When I thought about doing this, there were couple of things I didn't want to do. 1st is, I don't want to take orders or receive $ on future orders. 2nd is, I was reluctant to make custom sets. I prefer to use new hardware and straps as pictured in the 1st post, and make these up on my own time then offer them up. I do have a real job, family and I own a 40, so my spare time is limited. I have a list of folks that have expressed interest in sets, so my plan is, 1st come, 1st serve. Post here or PM me to get on the list. When I make more up I will contact the next person in line to see if they are still interested. I will be making a few more sets in the next 2 or 3 weeks, and there are few folks already on the list. It's another small batch. I will entertain doing custom sets on an individual basis. I consider using your stk hardware as custom. If I use your stk hardware I will not clean it up, that's on you. I will contact that person individually about the custom project. I don't really want to get into sourcing a bunch of different materials or hardware. If folks are interested in sets as described in the Original/1st post to please PM me to get on the list. All the sources of the hardware I'm using and the lengths of the straps can be found on this great and wonderful website if folks want to do this for themselves.
